A New York City good Samaritan is seen in a dramatic video yanking a handgun away from a motorcycle-riding thief during a violent attempted robbery. The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Saturday in Upper Manhattan over the weekend.

In the video, two suspects can be seen on a motorcycle pursuing a 28-year-old pedestrian before cornering him in front of a store, according to authorities and footage posted to social media.

The video shows one of the assailants holding a gun in his left hand and using his right to grab the shirt of the victim, who can be heard repeatedly screaming for help.

During the struggle, the suspect punched the victim while attempting to grab something off his neck.

According to cops, the suspect also shot at the victim but the man was not hit.

Seconds later, the clip shows a good Samaritan approaching the suspected robbers from behind and trying to yank the gun out of the mugger’s hand.

Despite receiving a punch in the head from the gunman, the good Samaritan was still able to grab hold of the gun, the video shows.

The good Samaritan successfully snatched the gun out of the mugger’s hand and chased after them on foot as they took off down the block on the motorcycle, the clip shows.

The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital in stable condition.

As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made.

The dramatic incident unfolded hours after two suspects riding a motorcycle approached a woman near the Guggenheim Museum and one of them attempted to grab her jewelry, authorities said.

The victim fought off the thief, and the pair took off, The Post reported.
