A Florida woman has been arrested on eleven counts of sexual activity involving animals, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said. Carin Theresa Buford, 58, is also facing one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
The Sheriff’s Office said that during video visitations on July 18, 2022, and July 19, 2022, Buford showed an inmate videos of herself having various dogs commit sexual acts on her. Marion County Jail Investigator McLain was notified by a corrections officer about the videos and an investigation was subsequently launched.
During the investigation, McLain located the video visitation recordings, which confirmed that Buford was showing videos of herself engaging in sex acts with dogs. In addition, McLain located e-messages between Buford and an inmate that graphically described sexual acts with dogs, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Detectives executed a search warrant at Buford’s home and found the smartphone she used during the video visitations. Detectives subsequently conducted a phone extraction and found eleven videos of Buford and at least two dogs engaging in oral sexual activities. Detectives also found a deleted file of child pornography.
When asked about videos, Buford admitted to making them but stated she did not know the individual in the deleted file was underage.
Buford was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
