A cop in Pomona, California, was shot in the leg on Thursday night and one of the suspected shooters was arrested.
The two suspects remained at large and were considered armed and dangerous.
The officer who was not immediately identified is likely to survive. Police called on the public to flee the area. In an interview with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, CBS Los Angeles announced that the officer was patrolling at 7:20 p.m. when the shot was exchanged between officials and three suspects. Pomona is located in Los Angeles County – between the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley.
